Hi Dave - actually it should link to the new version but I’ve maybe been a bit unclear on what the new version is. It’s both the linear and rotary clocks combined into one. All working okay for me, but please let me know if you’re still having problems.

Hi, I love this clock on my mac. I was wondering if you had any thoughts to develop this for the app store for the iPhone?
Thanks,
Luke
Hi Luke - answer is yes, I am working on a version at the moment which is about 95% done. It’s taking a while because the iPhone doesn’t have the same sophisticated typesetting engine as Mac OS X (or even a colour picker) so I have to write my own at the same time as learning the SDK. I don’t know when it will be ready but will announce it on here once it’s done.

That’s not PC, that’s windows. I hate it when people refer to it that way.
Hi Niels - I completely agree, I thought I’d managed to replace all occurrences of ‘PC’ with ‘Windows’. Must try harder.

Is it possible to get 24 hour English in the rotary version? I took a look inside the bundle, and there seems to be an XML file, but I can’t find it in the list when ‘rotary’ is selected.
Hi Alex - yes it’s possible to have 24-hour in the rotary version, I thought it looked a bit ‘mental’ though so I restricted it to linear. At some point I need to go through all the files and clean them all up; the rotary version needs a bespoke version which I’ll make when I can find the time…
I have a developer license, so hoping to release it ‘officially’ on the App Store. Programming time is a bit limited at the moment, so it will be a couple of months yet.

the windows installer requires admin rights. could you provide an alternative way to install it?

Simon, it looks like the link to the Mac version still points to the previous, pre-linear one. Can you take a look?

@Luke, +1
I had the jailbroken version of WordClock on my iTouch, and it was great - but your new rotary version is even cooler!
Thanks for porting this, Simon :) Can’t wait to see it in the app store!
I have a jailbroken iphone, but with Cydia and not Installer. Are you planning on a repository for Cydia?
