True North is a technical consultancy specialising in solving business problems using their extensive knowledge and experience of a diverse range of software. I developed a simple but fresh identity which reflects their bespoke problem-solving approach while making them visually more approachable that corporate competitors. Designed at Tonic.
The identity was developed to be more than just a badge. The building blocks form part of the True North brand story, illustrating their vision in a playful way. Animations were created to enhance a simple but functional website, and the identity is to be developed into a physical promotional item.
The logotype is based on Johnson, chosen because of its perfectly circular 'O'. I redrew the forms with a more contemporary appearance.
